We call her Annie for a number of reasons, none of which is that it is her real name. After she was adopted into a benevolent spy ring at the tender age of five, Annie's legal identity was sequestered in a safe deposit box in Telemark, Norway. Unfortunately, shortly before her discharge, the box was misplaced in a cave near Lake Tinnsjø. While we fear her identity may be permanently lost, Annie appears little fazed by this unhappy turn of events.
Rendered unemployable by her lack of identity and scrupulous code of self-conduct, Annie spends much of her time making shadow puppets out of cardboard refrigerator boxes, divining naturally occurring deposits of Silly Putty ore, and illustrating technical documents pro bono. Annie also enjoys color coordination and collecting statistics on the Chinese Basketball Association.
