Hello, my name is Walter Mensch. I'm an artist living in San Fransisco with a parrot named Walabash, which my brother Robert left behind when he went away.
I was born in Riyadh where I was taught, starting at the age of five, by Ibn ad-Sharam. At twenty, I moved to the California Institute of the Arts. Soon after graduating, I started teaching here in the Bay Area.
My other interests include sailing, marine life, boardwalks, and circuses. I also repair televisions and build models of WWII-era aircraft.
